Documentation from solo exhibition at Teatergalleriet, Kalmar, 2025

Sirens’ Song explores the female representation as a trope from

the myth of the sirens and The Odyssey to Jean-Luc Godard’s film

Le Meprís. The film was shot on the island of Capri in Italy where it is said that the sirens lived and which is also the island where Le Meprís was partly filmed. The sound scape consists of a series of clay flutes made in the shape of a siren. For the photogram the sound scape have been transferred into a score becoming a language of the sirens' song.
